Dr Mark is committed to providing safe, gentle and effective chiropractic care to families and individuals in the Sunshine Coast community.  Mark grew up in Little Mountain, Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast and now lives locally with his wife Dr Nicole Calder, and their son.

Mark and his wife Nicole established Little Mountain Chiropractic in 2008, and are passionate about helping families and individuals ‘reach their peak’ in health. They also are the founders of Geebung Family Chiropractic in Brisbane.

Mark received chiropractic care as a teenager, and the health benefits he experienced motivated him to study Chiropractic. Mark graduated from RMIT University Melbourne in 2005, completing a five year dual degree B. App Sci, B. Chiropractic, and has continued to expand his knowledge with post graduate study in areas such as paediatrics, pregnancy, sports and extremity Chiropractic and Cranial adjusting.  

His extensive training and experience allows him to provide patients with the best chiropractic care available for their specific concerns and individual needs.

Mark’s passion for Chiropractic has taken him overseas to India in 2008 and 2010 to volunteer his time to adjust local communities without health support.  

Mark is a Dad to his 2 year old son, husband to Nicole, loves motorcycles, surfing and working within his local community. He welcomes you to the clinic and looks forward to helping you live a healthier happier life.

Mark is a member of the Chiropractors Association of Australia, SOT Australia and is a registered Chiropractic provider for most health funds, including being a preferred provider for BUPA and Medibank Private.  Mark is registered for DVA and Medicare EPC plans with GP referral.

Dr Nicole is passionate about providing safe, gentle and effective Chiropractic care to families and individuals in the Sunshine Coast community.  Nicole grew up in Brisbane and now lives locally on the Sunshine Coast, with her husband Dr Mark Townsend and their son.

Nicole and her husband Mark established Little Mountain Chiropractic in 2008, and are also the founders of Geebung Family Chiropractic in Brisbane.

Nicole has always had a passion for natural health, and discovered Chiropractic in her late teens. When she experienced the health benefits of being regularly adjusted, she knew she wanted to study the art, science and philosophy of chiropractic.  Nicole completed 5 years of study and graduated from RMIT University Melbourne in 2007 with a B.Ap.Sci(Comp Med Chiro) /M. Clin Chiro. Since then Nicole has done extensive post graduate study in pregnancy, paediatrics, and cranial specific adjusting.

Nicole has worked within the Sunshine Coast community for over 10 years, and feels blessed to live in a part of the world that is not only beautiful, but fosters a natural, healthy lifestyle. With a wonderful climate to remain active outdoors, access to fresh local and organic food and a beautiful community of like minded people, practicing Chiropractic here has been extremely fulfilling.

Nicole is a Mum to her 2 year old son, wife to Mark, loves the beach, yoga, local farmers markets, and providing natural health care within the Sunshine Coast community. She welcomes you to the clinic and looks forward to helping you and your family live happier, healthier more vibrant lives.

Patrick graduated from Macquarie University in 2011 and has since undertaken many hours of extracurricular education to improve his skills and knowledge so that he can serve people with the best quality chiropractic care he can. He has a keen interest in Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT) and cranial strain patterns and their influence on the rest of the body . He also has a strong interest in chiropractic for kids and also functional movement in everyday life and sports performance.

Patrick is SOT certified, a SD protocol certified practitioner and is currently undertaking FAKTR (Functional and Kinematic Treatment with Rehab) certification. He looks forward to helping you get well, stay well and perform better through chiropractic and other essential components to life including good nutrition, movement, and quality sleep.
