Dr Thomas Hemmings

Dr Thomas Hemmings, Chiropractor – Sunshine Coast

Thomas developed his interest in chiropractic from a young age after receiving care for rugby injuries and general wellbeing. As a teenager, he completed work experience with a chiropractor, where witnessing the positive, life-changing outcomes for patients cemented his desire to pursue a career in chiropractic care.

Thomas is passionate about helping people improve their health by identifying and addressing the root cause of pain and dysfunction, rather than simply managing symptoms. His approach is practical, hands-on, and tailored to each individual’s needs and lifestyle.

Originally from Toowoomba in regional Queensland, Thomas moved to Brisbane to complete his chiropractic studies, graduating with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Master of Clinical Chiropractic from Central Queensland University. He has undertaken additional training in Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT), TMJ and craniofacial pain, and dry needling, allowing him to support patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological concerns.

In early 2025, Thomas relocated to the Sunshine Coast with his partner Bella and his son Oliver and is now practising as a chiropractor at Little Mountain Chiropractic. Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family at the beach, hiking, camping, fishing, and making the most of the coastal lifestyle.

Thomas has a strong passion for fitness and movement, which he integrates into his clinical care. He combines precise chiropractic adjustments with tailored home exercises and practical advice to help patients move better, recover faster, and maintain long-term spinal health.

Dr Thomas is a registered chiropractic provider for most private health funds and is a preferred provider with BUPA and Medibank. He is also registered for Medicare EPC plans with GP referral and DVA chiropractic care, supporting eligible Sunshine Coast patients.
